It is like dozens of others, but its weakness is that it stops working in a few weeks, so it is not worth buying. I replaced it with a cd player from Target. This is a standard, cheap, crappy portable cd player. You are better off going to some standard store.
One for my wife and one for her friend. No skipping and good sound quality for an inexpensive portable unit. I bought two of these. They both worked great.
I have had a couple of these over the years. They are excellent for the money, and believe me, I put alot of miles on them.
The item came brand new and works perfectly. You could shake this cd player yourself and the music wouldn't skip a bit. This cd player works great at a very affordable price. It does not have repeat or hold as advertised but the 60 second skip function works great.
I thought that by now the other brands like Coby would have caught up to mainstream brands in quality, I saved about $20 in this transaction.*This cd player won't play anything but perfect cd's, the slightest scratch sends it into spasms which are reduced by turning the skip protection off, ironically.*There is no external power plug*Player takes forever to spin up, and an eternity if it sees a scratch.I am going to have to go out and buy another cd player because this one certainly isn't any good. I purchased this cd player a year or so ago. It does not work like it should, so spare yourself the pain and get a better product.
